Is GLAM a mobile business or do we bring the party to GLAM??

GLAM is mobile and will come to you. This is how GLAM keeps its rates reasonable. GLAM serves El Dorado County and the Greater Sacramento area, but is willing to travel to other locations by request.

What is the age range for your parties??

Typically ages 5-12. However, younger aged girls (ages 3-4) do enjoy the Princess party. Depending on the ages of the birthday girl and guests determines what GLAM brings to the party.

How long does the entire party last??

It typically takes 10-15 minutes per makeover. You should plan for about 2 hours for a party of 6-8. Larger groups will take longer. You should include time for gifts, cake, etc in addition to the time for the makeovers.

What exactly does GLAM provide at a party??

GLAM will come to your party equipped with all supplies for the makeovers based on the party you choose (Princess or Rock Star). GLAM brings costumes for guests to dress up in during the party. GLAM also provides arts & crafts, which the guests can take home. GLAM brings the latest (kid friendly) music for a fashion show finale when the makeovers are done. GLAM takes a group photo for the party girl to keep. Goody bags and invitations are available at an additional charge. You will need to provide a space for the arts & crafts. GLAM brings a director’s chair for the girls to sit in while they are getting their makeover.

Does GLAM have anything for boys??

Yes, however supplies are limited. With enough notification, GLAM can provide the appropriate arts & crafts and makeover supplies geared toward boys. Any child is welcome to participate at any party. Hairstyles for boys can be spiky with colored hair spray or a “faux” hawk with colored hair spray.

Does GLAM supply food??

No, GLAM only provides the children’s entertainment. Please plan your menu accordingly and serve food prior to or after the makeover portion of the party. Lipstick tends to come off while eating/drinking and reapplication for all guests is not possible.

Does GLAM charge by the hour??

No. GLAM charges per person. GLAM requires a $25 deposit to book your party, which is applied to the balance the day of the party. Optional items are invitations for $2.99+tax/pack of 8 and goody bags are $2.99+tax each.

How much notice does GLAM need to book a party??

Due to the popularity of GLAM parties, it is recommended that you book your party 3-4 weeks in advance to assure your preferred date (especially for weekend parties).
